New CMAS Freediving World Record 🌊 A new World Record has been set in VWT-MF — Variable Weight with Monofin. On May 5, 2026, Jennifer Wendland from Germany reached an incredible depth of 120 metres in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. 💙 This outstanding performance adds another historic moment to CMAS freediving, pushing the discipline to a new level. The previous World Record in VWT-MF was 116 metres, set on June 25, 2022, also in Sharm El-Sheikh, by Lena Balta from Serbia. From 116 m to 120 m — a remarkable progression in one of freediving’s most demanding depth disciplines.
