Was testing some audio last night for potential streams in the future (👀) and had to jam to this one!
This is a REAL practice clip. I haven’t played to this song in so long. I had no idea what I was gonna play, and you can hear it. There’s a beauty to it though, it’s HUMAN. Too many guys are hyper editing their drums to make everything sound perfect and it’s set an unrealistic standard. The problem isn’t even so much that they’re quantizing their drums, it’s that they’re not being transparent about it. Would love to hear your thoughts on this 🤘🏻hope y’all are having a great day

I wrote this out for those that are curious about what’s actually happening during the “modulation”. It’s technically all dotteds and triplets but with a bit of human push and pull, you can make the rates sound equal and you end up playing 11 notes in a bar of 4!
