(Thank you @uypt for straightening this photo, Iโm no woman of tech)๐โ- ily
been wanting to paint the feeling of your eyes adjusting in the dark- a blue night- or dawn. - cold light โ- I noticed that all my life in NY- late summer- everything is blue or just when winter is leaving.โ I donโt like Joan Didionโs writing (not yet) but I read those two pages^ every year when I remember to. The only writer so far whoโs flat out described my favorite time of day/ night. Almost cried when I first read it coz what r the odds of reading about that
Thnks for reading

From my second birthday party
Opening Thursday, July 3rd in Baltimore! Feeling so grateful to be a part of this show. It will be my first time showing my work outside of NY and alongside all Filipino artists. Thank you so much @divinagraciaphoto and @ciarrakwalters for letting me be a part of thisโค๏ธ
๐๐ฉ๐ข๐ต ๐๐ฉ๐ฆ๐บ ๐๐ฆ๐ง๐ต ๐๐ดย brings together eight Filipino-American artists who consider how memory becomes material in art creation and how often, unintentionally, these works become acts of care, ritual, and record. The artworks chosen examine cultural inheritance and the unspoken labor of belonging through the lens of migration. Using their work to make sense of their presence as artists and Filipino-Americans today, these artists are moving beyond honoring the past and are in an active conversation with it.
Fromย July 3rd to August 2, 2025, ๐๐ฉ๐ข๐ต ๐๐ฉ๐ฆ๐บ ๐๐ฆ๐ง๐ต ๐๐ด will take place atย The Alchemy of Art.ย Curated by Baltimore-based artistsย Anna Divinagraciaย andย Ciarra K. Walters, the exhibition will feature work byย Thea Canlas, Miguel Caba, Ashley Dequilla, Ryan Frigillana, Dhaynne Torres, Kat Navarro, along with Divinagracia and Walters. Supported by Towson Universityโs Asian Arts & Culture Center and Off the Rox.
