This wasn’t high-budget research. We had a 4-hour window for setup and testing, building on an idea we first beta-tested in early 2024. It was a pure, resourceful exploration: an iPhone for a camera, an old projector, and a local NDI stream held together by an old router. The AI projection (Stream Diffusion) is running at a native 512x512 pixels.
It’s raw, low-res, and perfectly captures the feeling of this moment. It’s not about polish; it’s about the thrill of seeing what these new tools can do, right now, with the gear we have on hand.
I’m excited to push this exploration further given more time and resources.
