Had fun today shooting @_evan.miller & @jeffreyaustincohen ‘s TV pilot in Ventura County! For some scenes the camera car took off with main talent on a picture vespa, so I set their #mtp61 on record mode to get everything. It is remarkable how quick these transmitters jam & stay jammed for the entirety of the day even if you turn them off 😍
Used #dpa6061 lavalaiers with @ursastraps circular MiniMount concealers and got perfect results with color matching @vivianasoundsolutions rectangle fur covers & moleskin extremes 🤤

Capped off last year shooting a @globaliza@methodology commercial at the beautiful Girl & Dug Farm… Fashion stylist @laynaisle dressed our main talent with a scarf so I took advantage and hid a #dpa6061 inside it using a @vivianasoundsolutions dot w/ hole plus a rectangle fur cover (slide 2). Thanks to @wisycom@dpa_microphones@sounddevices I was able to acquire pristine sound all day long!
This October I recorded @hadashaaaaaaaaa ‘s retro telenovela episodes where DP @70mm_ and 1st AC @_30onme used a Japanese tube-based camera from the 80s/90s (slide 7).
During setup I was able to pre rig the tricky to wire main dress. Wardrobe dept. also allowed me to cut a hole in order to hide a second @dpa_microphones 6061 on the outer front layer which ended up sounding great (slide 2). As soon as talent stepped onto set the only thing I had to do was strap 2 @wisycom MTP61’s (slides 4&5) using double velcro extremes by @vivianasoundsolutions and call it a day!

Booming wasn’t really an option on this one due to the wide angle shot from the jib so I had to rely on 7 simultaneous personal mics, and thanks to @wisycom , @sony and @rodemic we got perfect results. If you are a Halloween movie fanatic this trivia show is for you!

Using @hideamic ‘s “t-shirt-holder” I was able to capture 100% clean dialog from @reedhorstmann on @writeralys upcoming short film. I recommend acquiring their concealer package also containing a tie, bra, and shirt holder for clean natural dialog recordings.
