Looking back even 1 year ago I can see such a drastic change in myself. My confidence, my drive, my ability, my skills, and genuine love for life has increased so much! I credit God. I credit my husband and his support. I credit my pursuit of Modeling and Acting. I credit all the many creative friends I have made on this journey. My life has its ups and downs, it’s hard times and good times, but I am so appreciative for every moment of life I get to live. From a 16 year old girl who thought jumping off a bridge would be a better and brighter future, I am glad God saved me then and has continued to pour His love and mercy over me. The blessings I have received over the last decade since then have been immeasurable. Never give up hope, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. Some mountains are just larger than others and take more time to get through. Team work makes the dream work. In this season that I’m in I have learned that sometimes it truly is okay to ask for help. It’s okay to not do everything by yourself. What are you quitting this season? For the first time in my life since I was 15 years old I have given up having an actual “Job”. I’ve done it all, from training horses, working as an office manager for multiple companies, to coaching gymnastics. I said last year, God what do you want me to do with this life you have given me? I won’t pretend like I’ve been given all the answers, but things have definitely become clearer as I have leaned on Him and become still enough to listen. In this process I have given up many many things that I thought I could never do without. Or didn’t want to do without. But fast forward to over half a year later I’m already feeling the blessings from those minimal “losses” that I thought were so big to me. So my challenge to you is, don’t be afraid to let something go from your life, if it’s a friendship, a job, a relationship, saying no, downsizing to a smaller house, letting go of a second car, and removing your timelines for Gods ultimate plan for you. Don’t compare yourself to all the people around you. We all have our own struggles and God will see us through them all if we cast our burdens on to him. He WILL give you more than you can handle alone, but our God is the only one that can handle ALL things. Pray. Listen. Pray. Listen. Pray again. And listen harder. God has an answer for you!
