‘The grief and the gratitude share the same chest. The fury and the tenderness share the same room. The hope and the exhaustion wake up in the same body every morning.’ I was moved by these sentences by @colorwecrazy about the paradox of feelings. It might not work to try to intellectually figure it all out, you may need to experience that soft animal of your body that can be with a prism of feelings. What are you feeling right now that you’ve been told can’t coexist? Name both. Let them breathe together 🌬️ Qiūfēn 秋分 – Autumn Equinox A time when yin yang ☯️ hangs in balance of relative equity. A pivot from which the wheel will again turn. From now on we will start to feel the descending, entropic and nourishing Yin energies begin to gather momentum. This is a time where you may feel: a subtle drop in energy more receptive to regulation practices breath, yoga, qi gong, acupuncture awareness of the quality of light awareness of the arrival of coolness

Think of acupuncture as nervous system support — not the whole solution, but a powerful ally in how the body processes stress. Acupuncture works through several physiological pathways that help the body shift out of chronic stress states: ⛅️ Regulates the nervous system Supports a shift from sympathetic “fight-or-flight” into parasympathetic “rest-and-restore”. 🌥️ Balances the stress response (HPA axis) Research suggests acupuncture can help regulate cortisol and the body’s central stress response. 🌥️ Improves emotional regulation Neuroimaging studies show acupuncture can influence brain regions involved in stress and mood processing. 🌥️ Reduces the physiological load of stress May improve sleep quality, reduce muscle tension, and support recovery from chronic overwhelm. 🌥️ A body-based intervention Helpful when people feel too wired, depleted, or cognitively overloaded to process stress through talking alone. Acupuncture works best as part of a broader support system: 〰️ Sleep as medicine 〰️ Nourishing food and herbal support 〰️ Movement and restorative practices 〰️ Counselling or psychotherapy when needed Because stress isn’t just in the mind — it lives in the nervous system and the body.
