Join us for CLOTH’s second Community Night at Rough Draft Harlem, this time in celebration of April’s Jazz Appreciation Month 🎶
Spend the evening diving into the rich history of Uptown’s legendary jazz scene with musician Judith Insell (whose career spans Broadway and performances alongside icons like Stevie Wonder and Beyoncé). Together, we’ll explore the lives and legacies of the jazz greats who once called Uptown home — from Sugar Hill to Washington Heights — and created timeless music during the Golden Age of Jazz.
From classics like “Take the A Train” to soul-stirring torch songs like “Lush Life,” enjoy a blend of storytelling, listening, and live performance as we uncover both the creative brilliance and personal stories behind the music.
