day 112 of 2026 It’s been 300 days that we’ve been opening, 65 days more to a year old. thanks for everyone that keeping this micro roastery alive. very moody weather makes me feeling to put a post today. ecuador season have come to nearly the end, soon we’ll be welcoming our all time favourite coffee, ethiopia. heard about a lots of good things from Guji region specifically, hope it all comes delicious. we will be open throughout the Labour Day, and the day after and the day after after. see you guys at that time. anyone have any thoughts on one year old merchandise please leave a comments at below. we will considering it seriously. hope everyone live well, don’t go too hard with your days, we will all being alright. good night and have a sweet dreams later. btw i like how my outdoor fan looks like although it might be not that practical. regards, ben

days 354 of 2025 hey dear all, *wednesday special operation* 24th dec 2025 - 9am till 4pm 31th dec 2025 - 9am till 4pm . . some blablabla starts here time flies and we’ve been exists nearly been 6 months from our first day of launching days still going, some days are busy, some days are chilling; making and roasting coffee as usual, one day and another. being doubtful on what were doing Is right or wrong, being happy while seeing familier faces, and of course being grateful that having a place that can serving the coffee what we like. doesn‘t have too much to catch up with everyone, just posting another post here as a edvidance to support were still living and brewing as usual; if there’s anything to say in 2025, that will be thank you guys for supporting our small business. thanks for everyone that letting this micro roastery in jb to still being alive; and lastly, not sorry for those people that you think were not doing right. we know what we doing and we’ll humbly taking advice if it’s true. merry christmas and happy new year to all of you, thanks for reading this. good night. // days 282 of 2025 hey all, it’s been another 56 days didn’t greet you guys with a post on instagram. how are you all doing? I wish you all doing good, having mostly good days and some shitty days out there. just another casual update of clod coffee, we’ve been releasing a new list, wish it can last till December otherwise I afraid of our dear designer being too tired on doing too much info card and can’t tolerance me on keep sending the wrong info to her and need to change too much time, keep edit and editing. new list having a few new geishas from different range, some interesting pink bourbon and kenyan coffee, Ecuador season finishing soon, make sure you didn’t missed out those very good sidra from la papaya and juan carlos too. okay, promotion is over, just some casual chit chat down there. clod are doing the same as usual, went to a short trip catch up with some friends in kl, enjoying a good show of @toe_music_official although on the day during closing we’ve found out I’m missed to collect like 200 ringgit from my customer and they just walked away, it’s quite shit at that moment; but it’s alright, I can’t get that rich with those couple hundred, but please contact me if you are reading this post, I can buy a few more carton of beers with the cash, can’t be wrong. day 225 of 2025 hey dear all, I would like to say thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who had drop by for supporting this very small dream, idea and business. adapting the wilfulness of ours, makes fruity coffee becomes more and more normal day by day. thats where our passion is and also what we will keep doing, doing and doing. days off goes really fast, had been riding with @gobeyond.motoclub , gathering with a lots of friend, drinking with @shoot.taproom , celebrating our best friend @orderinchaos.my anniversary with a lot of good wines, great wines and a lot of smiles and tears no matter it’s happy or not very happy. in the end, we just become we should be and looks like how we should, nothing special, nothing big that we can think ahead that much. we’re back to business quitely after a week of resting, back to coffee bar without any 8 foot firecracker and without any pineapples throwing in the store. no grand opening and nothing very special about it, just another coffee bar in jb town. back to making coffee with a little refined menu, with also new season Ecuador from @haciendalapapayaec and some Ethiopian from @testispecialtycoffee coffee next week. finca maya geisha also done it’s resting. no matter how, grab a cup or couple of coffee if you’ve nearby, retails shelf will be top up well. we’re back to our routine, and we wish everyone have read till this far having a very good week last week, this week and the further weeks. only doing takeaways with your own reusable cup, don’t have any plastic takeaways cup for you, only @mujimy reusable tumbler on shelf. two ringgit off for you on each plastic cup you’ve save. this is ben from clod coffee roasters, back to cleaning my toilet, see you and have a good one. day 212 of 2025 morning guys, today seems like having a POWER BREAKDOWN on 10am to 2pm due to @tenaga_nasional maintainance, please be mindful on that and keep calm if the things happen, this is a notice of we being close today due to the issue on above. everything being okay lately, it’s being one months old which we all feel that’s faster than what we felt. A lot of new and old faces being around, and also good and bad reviews coming too; we’re adapting it while trying to be improving at the same time. supposedly we will be close by this whole week but we’ve change to next week for a better rest; on mental and also resting for the new coffee list. extending the current combo’s menu till next Monday due Ben haven’t get the new list ready yet. most likely some new Panama and Ecuador will be on the list, and also Ethiopian too. thank you for everyone that being with us these few weeks, nothing can be more meaningful than what the present brings. have a sweet dream tonight; if not, pop over @shoot.taproom tonight for a couple good beers, I bet you can have a better sleep after that. thanks for reading this, thank you thank you thank you. day 195 of 2025 black fortweek had been ended today quietly, had been swinging should we open on monday or should I take another days off for living out my life without working. It’s been an very experiment two weeks in my career, happy to have a lots of friends and peoples had enjoyed our black, and also pissing some of the people off because we’re not serving any coffee with milk. I hope you all doing alright and I wish you find your favourite milk beverage on our neighbour’s coffee roastery. but anyhow our second play is here, COMBO’s. Back to work with cow and dairy, and trying to explains why we not serving milk on the first week, it’s not about right and wrong, it’s like I said earlier, coffee is very personal like John wicks slogan. we can also make a very good milk coffee too but in compare to just serving what people wants, I rather to trying let more people understand what we really love and enjoy and also WHY is that. on this week, beside regular 1(black)+1(milk), we’re also majorly still playing with black coffee, from bringing three different years Ethiopian COE champions to the table and featuring infinity la mora’s SL-28 in two different processing, showcasing what the terroir and the mother nature bring to us. see you all by the week. ——————————————— soft launch v2.0 “COMBO FORTWEEK” 17/7 till 28/7 thursday to sunday 0900 till 1600(full shift) monday 1300 till 1700 (half shift) off on tuesday wednesday for roasting and living

day 185 of 2025 thanks for everyone who’ve shown up last week on test running and I hope we’ve done everything right although not everything( I think). always good to see lots of new and old faces, friends and family around. however our soft launch had official starts quietly yesterday(also evadne’s birthday), which only makes black, espresso and filter within this weekend and following weeks. not doing milk beverage, latte, cappuccino, dirty or anything related with cow, lamb or oat. the whole concept behind this is we always have good black coffee at our coffee time, which always taste a lots of fruitiness, great acidity and with the profile of different origin, we think this is what we should and what we need to do, which is the right thing we think about to do. black fort-week starts two days ago till 13th July, see you all in a bit. thank you. day 177 of 2025 hi there, clod is a specialty coffee brewers and also coffee roasters that drinks local kopi campur teh at a lots of morning and a little of beers at the night of his life. today is the second day of clod running at his home, with a lots of luck and hearts fill up with gratitude, he’s lucky enough to be alive and at not that lucky at the same time, lucky enough of having a bunch of very good friends and lucky enough to have a lots of luck in his bloody life. if you wondering why clod name clod, it’s because of ben’s favourite band for now and probably his lifetime, but maybe not, npfcd. It’s the name of their second album. clod means a lump of clay, if it takes time, it might turn into a stone, and also means a stupid person; which we all know who that is. I hope we all stubborn enough on something. clod is a very personal project, it’s a business that ben trying to express and experience what coffee is and what he have understand of the years that he had been though and also a platform, a space and a community if it’s lucky enough to be.
