Happy Mother’s Day… I’m so grateful. I know how fortunate I am to be raised by the women I have been. And who are still so generous with their time and love. I know how blessed I am to still have them here to call on, and check in with, and to ask for guidance from. And I am so lucky to get to be a mom to my wonderful, funny, sweet, smart tiny girl.
Motherhood has taught me so much. But one thing that surprised me was how much women and other mothers will look out for each other- even with perfect strangers, there’s a deep empathy and a shared understanding. And It’s not lost on me that my full heart isn’t the same experience for many today… and I am thinking of you.
