Jasmin Guinness the stunning model.
The location was an old Victorian deserted house with very Dickensian mood, full of old canvases, broken chairs, and old framed engravings, all falling into decay.

French Vogue Beauty.
As I recall,Horst was photographing Jerry Hall, in the next studio.I we met outside the studio, he was sitting drinking coffee,it was a clear sunlit Paris afternoon, he was smoking, staring up at the sky, he had on a large pair of glasses with very thick lenses, we just traded hello's. and carried on with our espresso's.
I did not like the make up,so I decided to shoot the models in silhouette, with a flash spotlight, much to the chagrin of the fashion editor and the makeup artist.until they saw the Polaroid, and, then loved it.!!!

Helena Bonham Carter,
More of the idivine actress, one of many sessions I did.
At times, I saw this penetrating gaze into what looked like another realm, yet just lost in thought, she is always a joy and a gift to photograph.

Helena Bonham Carter 1982 at the start of her acting career, she arrived my studio in what can only be described as an Oxford Dons teaching robe, all dusty with white chalk I loved the way she enfolded her self in it.
Then went in a staring role in the wonderful film.
" A Room with a View " 1985 .then on to Lady Jane in 1986 and many more amazing roles........
