Clipse Teean, born Mbolatiana Lalaniaina Raoilison, is a street artist who expresses herself primarily through graffiti, while maintaining a strong connection to visual arts and design. After studying Urban Planning at the University of Antananarivo from 2001 to 2006, she became a self-taught graffiti artist, exploring the expressive potential of the medium. Curious and multidisciplinary, she experiments with sewing, welding, and carpentry.
Early in her career, she developed the concept “Rock, Paper, Scissors,” blending the raw spontaneity of street art with diverse materials, kirie-inspired precision, and her own Echograffiti technique. Her work explores human presence and activity within cultural and socio-economic spaces.
