Now in its fifth edition, TABOO remains Singapore’s most audacious after-dark exploration—a night where mystery is the primary currency and the wild and the weird are given room to breathe. For this opening chapter of the year, we look toward the Uniform. It is a study in authority, ceremony, and service, reimagined through a lens of fetish and fantasy.
The experience is a multi-room journey designed for those who wish to get gloriously lost. The soundscape is led by Bangkok’s Cliofeem (
@cliofeem ), supported by local anchors Matilda (
@matilda.maroussia ), Taz Angullia, (
@tazangullia ), Erwin Linden (
@erwinlinden_ ), and resident Durio (
@durio.rene ). But the music is only one part of the atmosphere; the night is punctuated by boundary-dissolving performances from Goddess Vexa (
@goddessvexa ), Jia Sheng (
@jiashengggggggg ), and rope artist Ropeholic (
@theropeholic ), while artistic installations lead the way to the hidden corners of "Sin Alley."
As always, the act of dressing is a mandatory part of the ritual. We ask that you leave the civilian world behind—plain shirts and streetwear have no place here.
