20 years ago I got promoted from @triplemperth breaky producer to breaky producer at @b105brisbane , which was at that point in time hosted by the incredibly talented #JamieDunn.
I will never forget the moment I sat in the back seat of Jamie’s car to see #Agro in a duffle bag in the back seat. It’s at this moment I realised I was working with the man responsible for one of the greatest characters of my childhood.
Unfortunately the company had plans to end his show within a few months of being there so our time together was short but so much fun.
Being called a disease and a rash by Agro while I put Jamie on the phone to @tmacovernight at my former station @6prperth to address rumours he was retiring, always made me smile.
He was a legendary radio broadcaster that genuinely cared for every person he came in contact with and was responsible for raising millions for the Christmas Appeal for Brisbane’s Children’s Hospital.
He got radio and the listeners loved him. 💙🕊️
