For 20 years, @ClimateReality has been building a global movement for climate action — empowering everyday people, advocates, and leaders to push for a more just, sustainable future. Founded by former Vice President @algore after the release of An Inconvenient Truth, the Climate Reality Project has trained tens of thousands of Climate Reality Leaders across the world to turn awareness into action and urgency into impact. From international summits to local communities, their work continues to inspire bold leadership in the face of the climate crisis, proving that collective action can create real change. We’re proud to support Climate Reality Project as an Eleven Eleven Foundation grantee and celebrate this incredible 20-year milestone alongside them. Here’s to two decades of climate leadership, storytelling, organizing, and hope. And to the work ahead.

Congratulations to Liz Soychak and Rosane Archery-McGowan, recipients of the Alfredo Sirkis Memorial Green Ring Award at our 20th anniversary training in Nashville! Every year, we recognize leaders creating meaningful change in their communities. But this year, honoring Liz and Rosane together felt especially powerful. For years, these two leaders have been at the forefront of environmental justice work in Louisiana – organizing for cleaner air and water, building strong community coalitions, advocating alongside communities in Cancer Alley, and proving what people-powered climate leadership looks like in action. And in Nashville, they continued that leadership as mentors to our newest cohort of Climate Reality Leaders – welcoming, encouraging, and inspiring others to step into their own climate leadership journey and #LeadwithClimateReality. What makes Liz and Rosane so special is not just the outstanding work they do, but how they do it: together. Their friendship, partnership, and shared commitment to community are a reminder that lasting change is built collectively. We are incredibly honored to celebrate both of them during this milestone year for Climate Reality.

We absolutely LOVE seeing our newest Climate Reality Leaders show up, show out, and proudly wear their green ring pins. The energy, passion, excitement, community, and joy throughout our Nashville training was something special — and honestly, we still can’t get enough of it. Congratulations to our Nashville cohort of Climate Reality Leaders. We’re so excited to see where your leadership takes you next. #LeadwithClimateReality #ClimateReality20

You’re not just paying for rising gas and electricity cost. You’re paying for higher insurance premiums, more expensive groceries, and the cost of climate disasters like the cost of rebuilding after wildfires, floods, and storms. Big Oil made this choice. Profit over people. It’s time to hold these polluters accountable.

Burning fossil fuels means that millions are not breathing clean air. We’re inhaling in particulate matter that triggers asthma symptoms and increases health risks. It’s hard to get better when all we do is continue to breathe in dirty air. So this #WorldAsthmaDay, we're focus on breaking the cycle. Let’s bring clean air to our communities. Learn about how you can stop fossil fuels at climaterealityproject.org

You couldn’t be in Nashville last week for our US flagship training. Okay, fair. But you’re not pulling up to a Local Training Event in your city either? Because this is the easy way into climate action – no prep, no pressure, just a chance to show up, meet new friends, and start making a difference right where you live. Link in bio.

We started the Nashville training with a powerful full-circle moment as our founder @algore reflected on the legacy of “An Inconvenient Truth” in conversation with @jon.meacham . In 20 years, so much has changed. We have made real progress, and the solutions are stronger than ever. But the urgency has not gone anywhere. If anything, it has grown. And that's why the people in Nashville with us matter, because progress only happens when people step up to keep pushing it forward. Then Kathy Mattea, Grammy-winning artist, Grand Ole Opry member, and one of the very first Climate Reality Leaders trained right here in Nashville, reminded us what it looks like to lead on climate with both her music and lyrics. From there, the room shifted into connection. Our Welcome Gathering brought attendees together to meet, commune, and start building what comes next, with live music from @scoot_teasley , a rising country artist blending Southern storytelling with hip-hop and soul. We're excited to see new conversations are starting. New relationships are forming. And the energy we love most at our trainings is here and undeniable. Day Two is underway, and you can catch @browngirl_green here on IG with behind-the-scenes look at becoming a Climate Reality Leader and our training experience. #ClimateReality20 #LeadwithClimateReality #Nashville
