Just as I was getting very depressed again with all the show cancellations, this article made me cry in the best of ways. This is the first time a nationally recognized publication has written a major profile on me and wow this was so great to read. It reminded me that, especially in this time of crisis, I'm not done working, there is something bigger than me happening and I need to make it happen. I'm so grateful for my community, for my city. We will be ok. We will prevail.

Meet Sherman Thrumpton, born in the Melody Woods where he found his first deck, a forgotten board that fell from the outskirts of Loston. He quickly found his passion for skating and wanted to spread the joy he finds in it with anyone willing to try.
Determined to share the joy he found on four wheels, Sherman set off on a journey, kick-pushing his way through wild terrain and quiet towns until he reached Mount Limyè. There, he built a new home and a tight-knit skate crew formed from the friends he met along the way.

Meet Franz the Deity born of Mount Limyè, often seen floating effortlessly on clouds that rise from its peak. After a series of recent disasters forced him to relocate to the even higher Üntep Mountains, Franz now lives above it all but continues to watch over Limyè daily after taking the Deity oath. Known for his profound understanding of people and their conflicts, Franz has become a quiet but powerful proponent of peace.
Legends say he can shift his appearance to blend in with common folk, moving through villages under many names, some know him as Oz; a drifter and a troubadour. He is a joyful and peaceful figure some know but few truly understand. Whether as Franz the deity or Oz the wanderer, his presence carries wisdom, empathy, and the promise of harmony even in turbulent times.
This Thursday, August 7th, experience Franz (or maybe even Franz too) under the dome at the Museum of Science Planetarium, learn just a little more about the world of Mount Limyè and other Wiild Characters. We only two days away get your tix now!
