I was scrolling one day and stopped on a simple clip: two women, friends, gloves on—punching it out in the ring.
No ego. No spectacle. When the round ended, they hugged celebrating a good punch to the face. That moment stayed with me.
What looked like a fight was actually something else entirely— trust, respect, release, and love. Strength meeting softness. Power meeting care. In Her Corner was born from that moment.
This documentary pulls back the curtain on more than just the fight.
It reveals the unbreakable bonds, the hidden battles, and the fierce resilience that shape a sisterhood of warriors. Strength forged not only in the ring, but in struggle, triumph, and the unspoken ties that unite them.
This is more than a story about fighters. It’s a tribute to the voices, the fire, and the unstoppable power of women who refuse to be counted out.
A huge shout out to @clevergirl_93 for the inspiration and production organization, @rwdevitt for your incredible camera work and partnership, @antonyknight for the incredible original music and passionate support and the powerful community of boxers that let us in to their world.

last year asked me to face uncomfortable truths.
this year taught me the power of rest and recovery.
i feel more like myself than ever, slowly becoming the woman i’ve always needed 🖤

“In Her Corner is a penetrating look beyond the squared circle that holds a crew together and into the hearts that make them strong. We’re on an intimate ringside journey through the life tangles that help shape this community of athletes into the badass women that they are. It’s a celebration of a community, and the people who’ve become its voice.”
Beyond the ropes of an Eastside Boxing Club lives a community of women that grow stronger with every punch they throw.
