Getting diagnosed with anything is a scary feeling, but instead of spending energy worrying about it rather than learning it to get the best out of yourself like you were always doing is key to moving forward.
The goal was never to be successful and get out - it was to be successful and bring in.
I think that ambition is such an important trait to have that I push for in myself and in others and I’m blessed to be surrounded by people like @dumioburota and @gfrsh who really inspire me to do better so we can enrich our people.
Karaoke is a MUST in any place that I’m involved in - the idea of getting people from all walks of life together and collectively singing (good or badly) is unmatched! 😅
We grew up knowing about the American dream but what about the London dream??
Once we realise that we’ve got so much opportunity here, we can really make positive steps to making our own dreams a reality! 💭
Pubs aren’t just a space for a drink. They’ve become cultural hubs and the best pubs are the ones that are able to understand and create an offering that brings people back time and time again for things outside of just a pint. 🍺
Where Peckham high st is will get you a bit of a different answer depending on who you ask but this is it for me and @princeofpeckham couldn’t be placed in a better location 🙏🏾
Losing money is a sore subject for anybody but almost a million hits different 😫
Rather than being sour about it, the biggest thing for me is being able to take my learnings and apply it into @princeofpeckham and make sure we don’t repeat mistakes again.
Losing Queen Of The South was a big learning curve for me and it really sums up @tiniegram ’s gem about slowing down to speed up.
You can’t always be at 100% all the time. Slow down for a second, re-evaluate what you’re doing and go again.
You’re better off going in the right direction slightly slower than the wrong direction fast.
Getting any diagnosis is not a joke but cancer can really make you rethink your lifestyle choices.
It’s so important that we as a community check in on ourselves and get a checkup before things get worse so we can be there for our families 🫂
