Our event is officially out, and we are happy to share the result of several months of reflection with you. At the origin of our collective is the ambition to think about 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼 as a 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗻 that informs our relationship with the contemporary world. That is why 𝗠𝗘́𝗧𝗔 𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗔 will be structured in 🌜two parts 🌛:
📽️ Evening - 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗶𝗻𝗲́𝗺𝗮 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗮 – with an in-depth talk on the relationship between liminal spaces and the emergence of collective and musical dynamics within the techno movement. Followed by the screening of the film Rage. 𝘔𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘰𝘰𝘯.
🔊 Night - 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗳 𝗠𝗘́𝗧𝗔 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀. 𝗧𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗮𝘀. 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗜𝗻 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 – an opportunity to experience together what has been seen and discussed in the spirit of a pure techno night in abandoned office spaces on the outskirts of Brussels.
For this special edition, we’re filled with joy and gratitude to welcome none other than 𝗧𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗮𝘀.
@tobias_freund_music , 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 and key figure of Ostgut Ton, who will grace us with a 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝘁 in the purest spirit of the movement.
Alongside our beloved residents Amalie, Plur and Ugzer, 𝗖𝗹𝗲́𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗺 from
@epiquetechnique_bxl will swap his lights for the decks, offering us a rare set infused with his unique sonic sensitivity.
Powered by 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗸𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻-𝗢𝗻𝗲 sound and illuminated by carefully designed lighting, 𝗠𝗘́𝗧𝗔 𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗔 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, advocating the idea that techno transcends musical classifications: 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱—𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱.
