𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨! The 9th edition of COLLECTIBLE Brussels closed on a high note! Over five days, the Vanderborght came alive as a hub for contemporary collectible design, bringing together galleries, studios, curators, collectors, and design enthusiasts from around the world. This year’s fair featured MAIN, BESPOKE, NEW GARDE, ARCHITECT <=> DESIGNER, CURATED, and SPECIAL PROJECT, including the debut of TABLESCAPES, exploring table design and the rituals of gathering. The CURATED section Echoes of Use, curated by Marine Mimouni (@marine.mimouni ), featured a poetic scenography by Lisa Bravi (@lisabravi ) & Romain Joly (@romainjolyy )with Pierre Frey, while the fair’s atmosphere was shaped by Lukas Cober (@studiolukascober ) in collaboration with Bellerose (@belleroseofficial ). Studio27 (@studio27_experience ) curated the restaurant space, adding to the welcoming and playful spirit. Brussels with Clélie Debehault & Liv Vaisberg #74CITYGUIDES: As Brussels prepares to welcome the international design community for COLLECTIBLE, we turn to the insider addresses of its founders, Clélie Debehault and Liv Vaisberg. Founded in 2018, COLLECTIBLE is the only fair dedicated exclusively to 21st-century design, bringing together galleries, design studios, institutions, and foundations in a format that reimagines the traditional art fair. Working between Brussels, Paris, and Rotterdam, Debehault and Vaisberg operate at the intersection of contemporary design, curatorial practice, and cultural production. In their Brussels, days move between galleries such as Maniera, Harlan Levey Projects, and Xavier Hufkens, with exhibitions at WIELS, BOZAR, and La Verrière shaping the rhythm of the city’s cultural life. Art Nouveau landmarks like Maison Hannon and Hôtel Solvay sit alongside the quiet elegance of the Van Buuren Museum & Gardens, while evenings unfold across restaurants such as IODA, ANJU, and Les Brigittines.

A fair gathers a large audience and offers scale, which allows us more freedom and impact. But it is not a regular trade show. COLLECTIBLE is a curated fair where every booth is treated as content. We pay close attention to how projects sit next to each other and make sure there is no random mismatch. All the side activities (talks, performances, VIP visits) also follow our ethos. A first look at Shifted Mirrors: Fragments of a Dreamed East, unveiled at the second edition of Maison&Objet Design Factory Hong Kong (@maisonetobjet.hongkong ) Curated by Clélie Debehault (@cleliedebehault ) and Liv Vaisberg (@livvaisberg ), the exhibition highlights more than 40 designers and galleries shaping new perspectives within today’s design landscape.
