Recently, I received the news that I’ve been admitted into the Master’s programme at the University of Cape Town. This moment means a lot to me. The journey to get here wasn’t simple. There were many days where I questioned whether I would even get in. They only take a handful of students… and that reality stayed with me.
But then the message came: “Dear Clé Hendricks, congratulations! You have been firmly admitted to the Master’s programme at UCT in 2026. We hope to see you at UCT soon.”
The University of Cape Town is the highest-ranked university in Africa, and being able to continue my academic journey here is something I’m deeply grateful for.
