This past week we had a great step forward with our Powell River mill project. This blast couldn’t have gone any better, all thanks to @rakowskigroup , @adbengineering , @dynonobel and the good people of Powell River
Our team in Powell River is unstoppable! Snipping, shipping and getting ready to do some tipping with our first blast prep underway. They are doing great, but there’s still lots of work to be done. A massive addition is being added to the fleet in the next few weeks to help out, keep your eyes on the highway for a convoy of low-beds.
What a year it’s been at Clearview—big blasts, tough jobs, long days (and nights) and results we’re proud to show off! Here’s a look back at the crews who made it happen, the new gear that kept us moving and the one-of-a-kind demolition challenges we took on in 2025 Let ’er rip!
Another overpass demolished safely and by the deadline from the Clearview team. Working on the side of an active highway always has its challenges but we completed the Bradner Road overpass in one night!
To operate a 480 high-reach that’s 96 feet in the air you need a steady hand, a keen eye and a big set of… awareness and confidence or in other words… a smooth operator
Have you ever had it when you have lived at a house for a long time and when it comes time to move you’re looking at everything and thinking “how did we accumulate all this”! That was exactly how we were feeling as we loaded up all of our equipment from Campbell River. We used our Tetris skills to have everything fit on the barge to Powell River. The @clearviewdemolition team is very excited to start this next chapter!
Last week was very busy for the Clearview Crews. Let’s have a look.
1. After months of planning and preparation we have started demolition on a six story hotel in downtown Vancouver.
2. We have been working the night shift due to the proximity to the skytrain track in Port Moody. Our guys tackled this one with no problems or damage to the track that was less than 2 feet away from the building.
3. We are cutting up a ship… on a ship. Located on the Fraser River for our friends at Radius Recycling.
Knock, knock Jon knows how to make an entrance! This project is for @beedieliving . We’re helping them get this Port Moody redevelopment off to a great start.
Our crew spend the day on the farm yesterday helping out the good people and animals at @kindred_farm . We removed a few old barns to make way for big and better shelters for the animals. We were happy to donate our time to this community if you’re interested reach out to Keryn @kindred_farm they do great work.
