We need an agent who can operate in hazardous zones where humans can't go. I could have designed a robot. A drone. An AI. But none of those feel like witnesses. They feel like tools. The Archiver carries data because he's human and chooses to preserve it. A bear made sense. Bears are survivors. They adapt. They're strong enough to wear heavy armor without losing mobility. Smart enough to be trained without being programmed. The modularity mattered, the bear isn't modified, the bear is equipped. The suit can come off. The bear underneath is still biological, still autonomous, still making decisions. The logo came from that same logic. I started with the name: BEARCLAW. Obvious, direct, functional. Then I asked: how does a bear sign a document? With a claw mark. Four claws dragged downward create three parallel valleys. That became the W - four diagonal strokes, three gouges between them. The sharpest, most aggressive letter in the wordmark. The bear's literal signature. The rest of the letterforms followed the same system. Every terminal cut at 45° to match the claw-scratch angle. Every letter interlocking with the next because the bear's armor is modular and plates lock together. Radial circles defining the curves where needed (the bowls in B and R, the protective arc in C), but blade geometry everywhere else. No soft edges. No rounded corners.
