I had fun yesterday playing around with one of my quick sketches, popped it into Photoshop and started experimenting with all kinds of colour combos and balance tweaks! Thought I’d share a bit! I’m planning to dive back into making prints this way: always starting with something hand-drawn, then fine-tuning it digitally.

My second reel !! I have no idea what I am doing so if someone has any advice or wants to help me with making them I am all ears 👂🏻
I wanted to show how I make the frilled edge trinket dishes and nearly got to the end and the video cut off without me realising🤦🏻♀️ You can see anyway that it’s quite a simple process, the longest part of it is waiting for the clay to completely dry. That usually takes around 2-3 days.
On a better note, I’ve had a good day today which I think is why I wanted to do something creative. I’ve been out into town and had my favourite sandwich with my gran and her best friend and the sun is OUT again !! 🌞🌷
Once the dishes are dry and ready to paint, I will try to make another reel showing the painting process - stay tuned for more shit reels 😂

I’ve been having a bit of a creative block today so thought i’d take a look through some of my old sketchbooks going from 2016 - 2020 for a bit of inspiration and found some pieces that I really liked and are still very much my style.
I have shared some that I like along with 4 funny self portraits at the end. Which I remember it being a fun experiment of drawing myself while looking in a mirror without looking at the page or taking the pen off the paper. I love that each time you never get the same drawing, there is something very special about it.

I wanted to show you some quick doodles I did yesterday with the repeated continuous line faces. I was testing some old felt tip pens out that I had and made these pretty doodle prints!
There will be more trinket dishes soon and will be making some prints to sell which can be framed and ready to add to your spaces.
