A long-time dream taking shape. The road here’s been a weird one, but I couldn’t happier that I’m here. Finally. Grateful beyond words for everyone who’s pushed, helped, and inspired me along the way. Big things ahead! Follow along @sawmill.studio

Added a ✅ to the bucket list this month and completed my first Ironman! Couldn’t have done it without my fam there every step of the way, but I definitely could have done without that gd midwest weather! This was my biggest race yet, but that wasn’t the reason it was most meaningful. I was slated to race in May but had to push back due to a testicular cancer diagnosis last Christmas. As cancer goes, this was the “good” kind - early stages, less aggressive, and easily treatable 🥜. It was quick road to recovery. A rare fortune. Having cancer caused a shift in perspective that I will oddly always be grateful for. I had to dig in to what’s most important to me and what I’m thankful to HAVE in this life. Nothing can be taken for granted. Your health and spirit, family, friends, and any other blessings you hold near to your heart - keep them close and treat them well while you have them. This Ironman was a cool accomplishment but for me it will always stand as a THANK YOU to having a healthy and able body, access to healthcare, and an even BIGGER THANK YOU to my loving family and friends. Thanks for everything this year. PSA: Get your balls checked, get your breasts checked. Cancer fucking sucks.
