Finally, a little intro post! We’re Bek & Serge 🪽🪽together for almost a decade, gently building a life and worlds through our shared love of beauty, making, and visual storytelling (& space operas lol). We’re so happy that our dream of building a creative life together led us here. Together we run @claydance.studio ~Serge is the driving force behind the design and making; completely self-taught and bringing all the technical know-how to 3D clay printing, glazing and firing. Bek brings visionary ideas, leads art direction, plays with every vessel in her floral work with @tremellabotanicals 🪷 Together we interpret across disciplines ~ bridging technology, ceramics, flowers and creative expression in unexpected ways. We also just really love gathering people and sharing ideas over creative collaborations. The making of our beloved Magnolia vessel… what began as a figment of imagination took shape as a 2D sketch, then was brought into physical form through 3D printing, in porcelain. All our pieces are lovingly hand-finished, glazed and fired in-house. And now in the hands of so many of you around the world, which still feels surreal to us. Celebrating 10 years together 🩶 now ~~>then (pic from our first date in Eastbourne UK) 10 years ago we met in very humble beginnings, both working in the basement of a fancy restaurant in Mayfair, London. Our lives couldn’t be more different! Since then there have been many shape-shifting seasons of change and experimentation; but through it all, we’ve always come back to creating what we love.
