If there’s one thing I’ve learned from
@ifican.chriskoch , it’s finding humor in everyday life. Chris does that daily, whether he’s navigating his way through an airport, speaking to leaders of billion-dollar companies, or riding on a boat full of tourists.
The latter happens to be my favorite story of Chris’s. The story goes Chris is on a boat ride preparing to go cage diving with great white sharks when he calls out to everyone: “This is actually my second time shark-cage diving. My first time didn’t go so well. I’m back to face my fears.”
Although he was born without arms and legs, Chris is a world traveler, an adventurer, a marathon man, and an all-around jokester. If he ever calls his motivational speaking career quits, there’s no doubt he would be a hilarious stand-up comedian.
There are life lessons we can all takeaway from Chris:
😂 Find humor in the mundane.
⛈️ When life gets tough, find ways to adapt and overcome.
🛫 Take chances. Travel. Step out of your comfort zone.
🧠 Anything is possible if you can convince the six inches between your ears.
Chris’s mantra is this: “You can whine and cry about not having arms and legs, but that’s not going to change anything. So, get off your ass and do something about it.”
