Classical IPR invites listeners to join us today, April 16, 2026, for a special day of programming titled “Just an Idea,” commemorating the 100th anniversary of the first performance by the National High School Orchestra (NHSO). This historic 1926 event served as the spark for founder Joe Maddy’s vision to create a permanent summer home for young artists at Interlochen.
