I’ve been working on some pieces for the crib pushing the limits my pallet. I love these fabrics together, it came together really well. I wanted to create a living room piece that brings life a space, that doesn’t blend but stands out. It’s weird, unique, and luxurious at the same time. STAY TUNED…🫡❤️
FELA KUTEE inspired by the great Fela Kuti. He showed the power in connecting to your roots and understanding that as a foreigner there’s POWER in your creative ideas / ~
LIVE. Live freely, and unapologetically. I sacrificed many things to get where I currently am; accepted opportunities that I was under valued in. But it was sheer belief in myself and the grace of Allah that got me this far.

Being "your own boss" or putting "CEO" in social media is trendy nowadays yet it is very difficult, and most can't handle the mental journey, the loneliness or traps set by success. Here’s somethings I’ve realized throughout this journey…
- Everyone can tell you what to think, but putting in work tells you how to think. Experience connects the dots.
- Wealth, health & happiness; we pursue them in that order, but it should be reversed.
- Everything great in life revolves around compound interest. Never underestimate seemingly insignificant daily habits.
- You can be the hardest working, most successful person in the world; if you are never conscious of God throughout, that success equals to 0.

I’ve been overwhelmed by the concept of making a piece from scratch but once I took a chance and got the fabric everything else came together. This piece was truly thought out and manifested from the minimal details to the stitching technique."
