Scenes in the bedroom with @isleofalba - encapsulating the comfort of fresh sheets on skin. As a reformed late sleeper, unable to get past 7am on the best of days, it takes me back to simpler times.
This one was an early start and a later finish. We put records on and built sets while an absolutely diabolical storm hammered outside. Finding ways to explore / break the mould. Thanks to the team for working with us on this.

Accurate representation of Bibi 45 mins before we have to be at the wedding ceremony. So much love for @fresh__pimp and @emilia__kosiek and all the friendly faces that made this celebration one to remember. Heart is warm. Belly is full. And the club sandwich hit different
Tokyo scenes after midnight. Wandering the streets, away from some of the attractions, it gives you a real, tangible feel of the city. I cruised around with a camera and no real plan. It really brought me back to a time when I first started shooting. Not because I had a reason or a concept, but because it felt right. Before I got fixated on rules, prep and making the right choices. Moving forward, I plan to take some of that playfulness and uncertainty back into what I do. Thank you Japan for reminding me of this!! And many other things.
🤷🤷 thanks for letting me hang. Japan, you were good to us. Not because of any famous landmark, but for the sense of presence. A quiet alley. The blossoming of cherries and new ideas. Japan glow up is real 🦌
Last night, I found myself journalling about exploration. How it’s both a physical and emotional undertaking. An opportunity for us to taste the new, and also look under the hood. Explore the self, and ask better questions. We are the sum of what we say yes to, but also what we say no to. And that often means leaving behind old patterns that limit us. That’s been a defining realisation over the past few months.
The showreel snippet above is a collection of moments from the past few years. After covid, I made a decision to double down on video and chase it full time. Eventually, that lead me to larger projects, strategising and directing. It’s allowed me to explore, learn, evolve and work with some exceptional characters. Both in front, and behind the camera. I want to say a massive thank you to all of them and to my clients for the trust.
At times this year, I felt ultra focused. During others, I was unmotivated, but just choosing to show up. With time, I’ve begun falling in love with and appreciating that journey, rather than simply hunting down the milestone or next high. I realise now that each low, every moment of loneliness (and there were many this year) and sacrifice. Every painful rep, moment of grace, cringe, conviction, seeds of doubt, grief, elation; that it was all taking me, my work and my relationships, on an upward trajectory (and not always a linear one 😂). I believe the same may be true for you.
Thanks for a defining few years. We have some wild projects in store for the year ahead. 2026 feels like culmination of all the lessons, and an opportunity to explore even further. This collection of projects marks that shift - way too many people to mention in here, it won’t let me tag everyone. You all know who you are. Thankyou. Track: Love is a long road - Tom Petty (gets me so geed up). Happy new year
Don’t think too much 🎄 I was putting together a showreel of projects and found myself getting bent up on every minor detail. Until I realised it’ll never feel just right. It’ll never be ready. It’s all an illusion. Complete beats perfect every time. Putting that energy into practise. On that note, full showreel dropping very shortly. Track is a golden number: Smalltown boy - Bronski Beat
If you’re shooting, big or small, even a tiny bit of art direction goes a long way. It gives you a base for pre production, styling for the talent as well as something for them to do. Sound design queues. Ahhh, the options are endless
Behind the scenes shooting for @akubraofficial PART 2. This shoot had it all. Sub zero temperatures, bush make up, @greta.hampson drinking 3L of water for a take we didn’t end up using (I’m sorry), working with incredibly well behaved horses, which made it challenging when he had to do a pretend fall off a horse. Lengthy shoot times and plenty of movement. And through it all, some laughs were had as well. Special thanks to @filmbylehman for this behind the scenes look in and asking me questions even when I was completely frazzled.
As always, thank you to @byeponyboy and the entire team for your energy, patience and commitment. What a time.

Behind the scenes on Akubra PART 1. So many incredible faces, voices and minds coming together for @akubraofficial || We geared up (gloves and all), the sun rose and it was on. Here’s a little look into what went on behind the curtain.
A massive thank you to @filmbylehman for shooting this behind the scenes gold and being an all round top human. 🤝
To @byeponyboy for giving it everything and being one of my favourite collaborators / humans.
And finally, to the entire team. I can’t think of a better group of people to work on something like this with. It was both exhausting and exhilarating, and that energy stayed at its core throughout. Thankyou.
