a continuation - Jasmine Le (part 3)
what started as an idea for the year of the fire horse, Jas and I ended up making just something.
Something.
started with presenceāa slow warm welcome.
unfolded through confidenceācoquettish and unapologetic.
leaned into movementāeverything else flowed.
Something.
the fluidity, the softness. catching and lingering; an urgency underneath. Something always slightly in motionāa motion that feels honest.
a quiet becoming. the holding and learning that came before, allowing each version to exist.
moving onānot an ending. perhaps the next scene.
it might bend. it might drift. it might go back a step or two.
itāll find its own way.
Forward. Something

Confidently PlayfulāJasmine Le (part 2)
What started as something light and playful unfolded into something much deeper. As I looked back through the images, I was reminded why Iām so drawn to capturing peopleāthose unplanned, honest moments that reveal themselves without force.
This felt less like a shoot and more like an experienceāone where different layers naturally surfaced. A glimpse into the many sides of Jas, all existing at once, all beautifully real.

romanticize the practice of presence
a moment of surrender
basking in the glow of being on the precipice of a life greater than the present
and the present demanding more than the future
this is the melancholy of becoming
becoming exactly who Iām meant to be
I canāt thank @clarydot enough for this shoot. Her passion and love for photography isnāt just about a pretty picture. she captures the moment and the person in all their essence
another huge thanks to @departmentdenver for accepting me into their residency program and allowing us the space to let all the ideas in our head come to life
