Core memory unlocked ❤️‍🔥 First (Cruz) family reunion OF COURSE comes with a surprise dance performance from the kids. And they did amazing learning off videos and having only 3 practices! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 2 weeks later and I’m still beaming with pride. Mostly because you would never know, but literally right before this, Koko had a level 10 meltdown over some hurt feelings from games he was left out of. He was very angry, already stimulated and tired, and could not calm down… we had to have some volunteer singers and comedians stall for us while I did my best to get him through this and on stage. He would try to push through and end up crying in despair and even said he didn’t want to do the dance anymore. But I knew it would break his heart even more if he didn’t, so I dug deep and pulled out a couple of bribes, and he flipped a switch 😭 He got on stage and did his best ⭐️ Clip 1: never know how angry he was just 2 minutes before this moment Clip 3: little mother/son moment since he’s an only child (and how was I gonna do this by myself 🤣) Clip 5: didn’t know this was captured, but he came straight over and I was in near tears how proud of him I was 🥹🥹🥹 Choreo: 💁🏻‍♀️ Hula solo: Karina @katey_cakez Mix 🎶 & 🎥: @trandreww_

To the father figures who willingly stepped into a role they didn’t have to and absolutely crushed it. There is a special, quiet strength in men like you that often goes unnoticed by the world, but your impact echoes loudly in the lives of the children you help raise.
