What’s new inside: 📍 Expanded lobby + welcome area 📍 Three brand‑new group exercise studios 📍 Updated childcare + youth watch spaces 📍Two new family restrooms 📍 Fresh finishes and a brighter, more modern feel throughout By rethinking the existing layout and revitalizing key spaces, this renovation creates more room for wellness, connection, and family life to thrive for years to come. Under a sky of stars and stripes, the Clancy Cancer Fighters came together in Newport News for Relay For Life of Peninsula — a patriotic evening celebrating 250 years of America while honoring loved ones, supporting one another, and raising funds in the fight against cancer. 💜✨ From festive décor and raffles to a table full of homemade all‑American treats, our team brought the spirit all night long. The bake sale featured everything from mini apple pies and buttery pecan cookies to refreshing fruity mocktails, all generously baked and crafted by incredible team members. Thanks to everyone who donated, baked, volunteered, and stopped by to support the cause, $10,877 has been raised so far in the fight against cancer. We’re grateful to be part of a community that continues to show up, give back, and make a difference year after year. #RelayForLife #AmericanCancerSociety #WeBuildCommunity #LifeAtClancy

Welcome to the 2026 Clancy & Theys Interns! 🎉 Today marks the start of an exciting summer as our newest interns join teams across the company to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry. This year’s intern class represents 19 different schools and includes 38 students working in a variety of areas including preconstruction, construction operations, project management, project engineering, marketing, and more. Throughout the summer, they’ll contribute to real projects while also participating in professional development opportunities, volunteer initiatives, employee engagement events, and mentorship experiences. We’re excited to have this group on the team and can’t wait to see all they accomplish this summer. Welcome to Clancy & Theys! 👏 #ClancyTheys #BuiltToLead #SummerInternship #ConstructionCareers #FutureBuilders #ConstructionIndustry #TeamClancy

Last week, Clancy & Theys along with our partnering architect HH Architecture hosted the SMPS Triangle Chapter for a behind-the-scenes tour of our Midway Event Center project - currently under construction at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds. 🏗️ All construction activities were temporarily paused as our very own Lee Tillett and John Hyzak joined Laura Beesmer and Sara Waldron of HH Architecture to provide A/E/C marketing professionals some insight into the development and construction of this state funded project. With 29,000 SF of multi-use space, this new facility will boast quite the gathering space for future visitors - including a banquet hall big enough for over 300 guests. Our team is proud to be a part of building this year-round destination at the NC State Fairgrounds! 🎡 #AECIndustry #SMPS #RaleighNC #MidwayEventCenter

As Safety Week comes to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the stories and experiences shared across our jobsites this week! 🏗️ We’ve heard stories from teams in the field that all point to the same core truth: safety is built into every decision we make. As a key mission value, it’s not just something we talk about, it’s something we strive to live out every day. Whether it’s identifying risk early, taking the time to plan work the right way, pausing when something doesn’t feel right, or speaking up to protect a teammate, it all comes back to making the choice to be safe. These aren’t one-time actions, they’re daily habits and a mindset that keep our people safe and our work strong. That commitment is reflected in this year’s award winners, reinforcing that safety is something we build together. These moments matter because they show that safety leadership isn’t just a title, it’s something every person who steps foot on site takes part in. To everyone who shared their story, thank you. Your actions are what make the difference. This doesn’t end with one week. Let’s carry this momentum forward into every job, every day, because safety isn’t just first - it’s always! ❤️ #SafetyWeek2026 #BuiltOnSafety #ClancyWay

This week, we’ve talked about what it looks like to recognize risk and respond with intention, but today we’re focusing on what it means to look out for one another and respect our teammates on site!👷 Respect on the jobsite goes beyond just words. It’s shown in the moments where someone is willing to speak up, ask a question, or call a pause when something doesn’t feel right. It takes respect for the work, the process, and, most importantly, the people around you to stop and replan when conditions change. Today’s stories reflect that kind of leadership in action. Moments where someone chose to question the plan, adapt, and do things the right way. Because sometimes the most important progress we can make is pausing long enough to ensure the path forward is safe. That’s how we build trust on our jobsites - by valuing every voice and every decision that protects the people around us! ❤️ #SafetyWeek2026 #BuiltOnSafety #Respect

Today, we recognize National Stand-Down Day, a moment to pause, reset, and refocus on what matters most. 🛠️ In an industry that moves fast, it’s easy to fall into the mindset of “just get it done” or “it’ll only take a minute.” But those are often the moments when risk finds its way in. When we rush, steps get skipped, and that’s when people can get hurt. Taking a stand-down isn’t about slowing progress, it’s about protecting it. It’s choosing to pause, reassess, and make sure the job is done the right way, not just the fast way. Today’s story is a reminder of that shift in mindset, showing how teams can step back, refocus, and prioritize safety over shortcuts. A stand-down is more than a pause, it’s a commitment to each other. To speak up, to stay aware, and to look out for the people around us! #SafetyWeek2026 #BuiltOnSafety #NationalSafetyStandDown

Safety Week continues as we focus on how we respond to situations on site, because how we respond is what truly protects our teams. 👷 The goal isn’t to simply react in the moment. Reacting is immediate and instinctive, often leaving less room for control. Responding, on the other hand, is intentional. It’s built on preparation, awareness, and clear thinking. That’s why the strongest response doesn’t start when something happens, it starts long before work begins. Through preplanning, teams align, walk through details, identify potential hazards, and put the right controls in place from the start. When we do that well, we’re not reacting to risk, we’re preventing it. Today’s stories bring that mindset to life, showing how preparation and communication make the difference before challenges ever arise. Let’s keep the momentum going by staying prepared and continuing to respond with purpose! #SafetyWeek2026 #BuiltOnSafety #Respond

Safety Week 2026 is here and we’re kicking things off by recognizing what makes safety so important at Clancy & Theys. There’s a reason why safety comes first in our core values. Every task and every day starts with recognizing the risks around us and taking action to protect one another - so every person gets home each day. Every safe job begins with awareness. It’s the moment someone notices something isn’t right, trusts their instincts, and speaks up to protect the crew. These decisions can prevent injuries and stop incidents before they happen. We’re proud of the culture we’re building together - one where everyone has a voice and looks out for each other. Follow along this week as we share our stories from the field and continue strengthening the mindset that keeps our teams safe! #SafetyWeek2026 #BuiltOnSafety #RecognizeHazards

Safety meetings with our Florida team this month included a visit to The Vibe student housing project and demonstrated the importance of staying connected across the division. At The Vibe, we were able to see real progress taking shape while reinforcing the importance of maintaining strong safety standards in a busy student housing environment. These site visits are valuable opportunities to learn from one another in real time. Every project has its own challenges and approaches, and seeing how teams are solving problems in the field helps strengthen how we execute across all of our work. Just as importantly, it keeps us aligned. When we can see what other project teams are accomplishing, it reinforces consistency in safety and quality - while reminding us that we are all working toward the same standard across every site. We are proud of the progress being made and grateful for the chance to learn from our teams in the field. Safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement remain at the center of everything we do at Clancy & Theys! #ClancyTheys #SafetyFirst #SiteTour #WeBuildCommunity
