Serve Day is Back! Saturday June 13th from 9am-2pm, we have the opportunity as a campus to come together and serve our beautiful city of Maple Ridge in very practical ways!
This is a fun event that everyone is encouraged to participate in. From young children to seniors, there’s a space for everyone to help!

MISSIONS MONTH RECAP 🎉
Last month was missions month! If you were with us, you heard some incredible testimonies and stories of what God is doing through our Church! We had the opportunity to hear about James project and everything that they are doing in Guatemala! Over $140,000 raised!
We ended with a bang as we celebrated by trying foods from all kinds of cultures and backgrounds represented at CLA Maple Ridge!
Thank you Maple Ridge for your incredible generosity to the mission and mandate of CLA Church!

As Lent begins, we step into John 13 and the moment of The Basin & Towel — where Jesus knelt, served, and redefined what power and love truly look like.
Before the cross, there was humility. Before the crown, there was surrender.
Join us as we walk the path that leads to the heart of Christ.

A Special Message from Pastor Derrick in light of the Tumbler Ridge tragedy. We ask you to pray for Pastor Gerald & Tracy Krauss and the New Life Assembly in Tumbler Ridge. Pray for Dr Jim Caruso from CLA who is going up there to be part of a trauma counselling team. Pray for families, those who have lost loved ones and those who’s loved ones are in hospital. Pray for Christians on the frontlines, to be “salt of the earth” and a “light in darkness”.
We stand with Tumbler Ridge and all of BC today in a corporate response of love and compassion.
This Sunday, we begin Missions Month at CLA.
Jesus promised the power of the Holy Spirit so we could be His witnesses—here at home and to the ends of the earth. Over the next four Sundays, we’ll lean into worship, stories, prayer, and teaching that ground us in God’s heart for the world and invite us to participate in what He’s doing beyond our walls.
Whether through prayer, generosity, learning about our global partners, or simply showing up, there’s a place for everyone in this journey. Join us as we step into Missions Month together and respond to Jesus’ call to go.

Join us this week for our week of prayer. Our week of prayer is a chance for us to slow down and prepare for the year ahead of us. We are expectant and excited for what God is going to do in and through our church and community this year.
