Pisces season lessons from the past year…
Hold space for becoming
Strength doesn’t have to shout
Discipline can be sacred
The more presence you bring, the more magic unfolds
Practicality is valuable, but tenderness is transcendent
Embrace the word through your senses. Sip slowly. Savor. Fully present, fully alive
Pleasure is productive. Peace deserves protecting.
Romanticize your own existence, and live deeply for the now
Desire consistency. Nothing too rigid. Follow what feels like freedom.
Carry a little rebellion in your spirit & be the person who reminds you how fun it is to be alive
Don’t be afraid to show generosity with your emotions. It may feel like you’re overdoing it, but that’s just your fear speaking
True nourishment isn’t always neat, it’s in the messy moments; the boundaries you hold and the space you reclaim
Overthink the good outcomes too
Time and love are never wasted
Grief is loves souvenir
Rise, not for the world, but for yourself. For your wild, radiant, silly, sacred self.
Open road portals
Bundled freedom
Traversing the gateways and stateways
Running with the wind
A few reminders from the road…
Peace is not passive, it’s chosen & built.
The mind adapts to the quality of what it consumes. It begins to process faster, connect deeper, and respond with clarity rather than impulse.
Advancing isn’t about volume, it’s about consistency and depth.
Take your own growth seriously, not through rigidity, but through devotion.
Growth happens through discomfort.
Choose presence over potential.
Illuminate the raw tenderness, the distance between us, the longing.
Always choose to be softer.
39 in Santa Fe. Mostly film.
More here then ever. Playing in the elements that breathe life into us with some reverence for what’s been and what’s to come.
Thoughts and words I’ve been reflecting on for another year, from pages I’ve read the past few weeks on the road.
“Time drips, heavy, slow…” - Camus
“You meet your destiny on the road you take to avoid it.” - C. Jung
Ask for truth. Accept it when it comes. And no matter what, do not settle for less than you want & deserve.
Drift beyond the ledge.
Express their importance in your life.
Release our grip on certainty. Surrender to the great mystery.
The most romantic thing in the world is feeling understood.
In love, you admire solitude, not fear it.
Keep doing things for you, for your own approval, for your own joy, for your own spark & self understanding keep experiencing yourself.
Sometimes it’s not uncertainty holding you back, but the refusal to accept what’s already clear.
Growth cannot happen without friction - they are precursors to intimacy.
You are healing when silence feels better than chasing.
Surrender to what is. Let go of what was. Have faith in what will be.
We mess up. Conflict and crisis lead you to experience peace, wisdom & compassion.
What if the only thing that is wrong in this moment is the fact that you’re judging yourself for it?
The power of transition belongs to us - in strengthening our back, softening our heart, sharpening our mind.
Pay attention to what is revealed.
Progress over perfection. Always.
In French, you don’t say “I miss you,” you say “tu me manques” which means, “you are missing from me.”

As we enter a new season with the spring equinox, and the astrological new year beginning with Aries season, as well as the passing of my birthday…I have been looking towards the beauty of surrender and intention. The polarity or dichotomy of them, but also the nuanced connection. The letting go so we can stay open to mystery.
This is Georgia O’Keefe’s home that she had built in Abiqui, a reminder that we can feel both fear and courage and that it takes both to fortify ourselves, trust our instincts and follow our individual path. She fell in love with the door and it took years to obtain the home and rebuild the structure from rubble. As I walked around her home, I was awed by the simple beauty she created and the inspiring life she lived. Every morning she woke up before sunrise and touched the fear not hand she had found in Thailand and hung on her bedroom wall. She walked into the kitchen to make her morning coffee (in her chemex of course) and returned to her small cozy bedroom with a view of Pedernal Mountain to watch the sunrise. She sat in the metal chair by the window whenever she went camping so she could be comfortable when amongst nature. And she only created three sculptures in her lifetime that she made in many iterations until she passed March 1986, the month and year I was born. What beauty she saw daily, but also intentionally created with both courage and fear.
There are a few well known quotes where she talked about feeling fear daily, but never allowing it to hold her back from living the life she wanted, the life she created and the life she embraced. She stepped into new beginnings but held trust in the returning to herself, the ability to create the life of her dreams, she chased her passions.
It was a reminder that from honesty, we can move ahead, take action on our desires and embrace our wild spirits. I hope we all have that courage to surrender and explore our imaginations and always return to ourselves, leaning into the mystery.
And I can’t stop thinking about that bird perched above her home on the Ponderosa pine.
