I have been working and dancing at @mutualartscenters / @mutualdance for the last 8 years, but the last 5 have been something else! We merged with another org, we changed our name, we finally got our very own space and filled it with dance - my literal dream. Creating a safe space for ALL PEOPLE to experience dance has been nothing short of amazing. I love my job and everyone involved. There are too many people to thank, but you know who you are☺️ I am so glad we got to celebrate our 5th birthday as @mutualartscenters yesterday at our end of season recital. It’s my favorite day of the year 🥳

FFIFF is a five-part dance film project by Jasmine Snellen for Mutual Dance Theatre and the first premiere under the company's new name (formerly known as MamLuft&Co. Dance).⠀

The title is an acronym for "Feelings / Flock / Incensing / Followers / Fit" — phrases that come to mind as Snellen (MūDa Company Director) processes our current times. The work explores society's rapidly shifting polarity, clashes of beliefs, the tethers of groupthink, and how these overwhelming conditions often leave us feeling as if we are on the brink of something grim.⠀

FFIFF will be released in five parts from November 27 through December 21 through the Company's channels on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Vimeo.⠀
