Episode 2 is here!
@jedsybl caught up with @claesthalmann . Claes talks us through what being a player taught him as an official, everything that goes into organising the officiating clinic running alongside the wonderful @copenhagen_bowl , when he (briefly) made Jed the most hated man in Panama, and much, much more!

Pleasure to work with you all, and hope to be able to repeat it next year at @sportmonda_bowl_

Supervising at @copenhagen_bowl dressed appropriate to never enter a field 😉
At least the clothes were practical, shorts ready to play a game with zebra flags, White compression sock & a warm winter officiating jacket on a rare rainy day at Copenhagen Bowl.
Thanks for the photo @1stdownphoto in the middle of my busiest weekend as tournament organizer, updating team officiating schedules, organizing officiating clinic, teaching, supervising & play a few games beside trying to talking with international friends!

IFAF medal from supervising Euros 2017🇪🇺
DAFF medal from one of my Danish finals🇩🇰
Great Britain from the Women’s final tournament in December 2016, when they played finals outdoors! It was also my 5th officiating final in 2016 with 4 different positions.🇬🇧
Swedish medal from my 2nd Swedish final🇸🇪
Also have my Danish silver medal from 2011 & first IFAF WC medal from 2012 where I officiated Women’s bronze
The P word:
Precision 🎯: ❌
Pizza 🍕: ❌
Predictable 🔮: ✔️
@claesthalmann and @jedsybl talk through why being predictable is perhaps the strongest trait an official can have.
Next official is the only one not present at WC 2024, but Magnus Lauesgaard has had a huge impact on the tournament from a historical point of view.
Magnus is a living legend & a DAFF hall of famer for his work within officiating in DAFF and IFAF.
He was part of creating a common IFAF rulebook back in 2008, invented the officiating clinic used first time at Euros in 2015 where he also was supervising and been supervisor at World Championships in 2012, 2014 & 2016.
Currently he is part of the officiating review group who gives video reviews from eg. WC. He has been referee at the WC finals in 2008, 2010 & 2012, while latest international tournament was Euros 2017. He has been teaching officials in Austria, Denmark & Austria, all proud officiating countries.
After Euros 2017 he has officiated a few national finals & Sportmonda Bowl games, but also supervised some developing officials at Sportmonda Bowl including being an instructor at last years clinic.

Officiating clinic update
We continue down field from the WC finals when announcing our third instructor, Omer Sela, who was FJ in the Men’s final.
Omer is leading the video reviewing group of officials and reviews all reviews to ensure alignment & quality, so he has probably seen the most games from the last WC.
Omer is currently also the only official to have officiated finals at World Games, World Championship & European Championships and been referee in both WC & Euros.
Omer has IFAF supervising experience from World Games 2022 & World Championship 2024 and we look forward to have him back where his international flag football experience started in a more basic clinic back in 2017
