April flew by. @umnclarinetstudio ensemble concert—already feels like ages ago—then Strauss’s Duet Concertino with my one and only best colleague @brady_bassoon , a short trip to Korea, and wrapped up with a couple of Mozart Clarinet Concerto performances.
Grateful for the people I get to make music with and learn from every day.
I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience performing Strauss’ Duet Concertino than I had with @cla0814 and @spcomusicians . Bravo to everyone for bringing to life all the charm, lyricism, wit, and joviality of the piece! I’m already itching to play it again!

We are thrilled to present our 3rd Annual Clarinet Studio Recital!
This program celebrates the creativity and collaboration within our studio. Our clarinet ensemble will perform two works composed and arranged by our own students, @georgefisher2008 and @dlanmoreno .

These performances highlight not only individual artistry, but also the spirit of our studio—supported by faculty and fellow clarinetists performing together as an ensemble.

2주가 넘게 지나서야 몸과 마음 정리할 시간이 생겼다. 지난 12월 뇌출혈로 쓰러지신 뒤 끝내 의식을 회복하지 못하셨고, 때문에 하린이도 결국 못보고 가신게 맘에 걸린다. 하늘에서는 미처 못 보고 가신 하린이를 마음껏 지켜보시길..
Thanks to your kindness and support, I was able to lay him to rest peacefully. I am truly grateful.
After collapsing from a brain hemorrhage last December, he never regained consciousness and passed away without meeting Harin.
I hope that, from above, he can now watch over Harin as much as he wishes. 🙏
