After five and a half years on Academy Dr, it will soon be time for me (and by extension @redcentstudio ) to find a new place to live. The family that owns the house wants to do some very necessary remodeling over the next year or so, and so I must go. I’ve been looking at new places and I’m very excited about the prospect of having 1.) a kitchen with a dishwasher and level floors, 2.) a human-sized bathroom 3.) a second, also human-sized, bathroom, and 4.) more space for the studio. I will miss this house but I am looking forward to the next one. I’m in contact with a realtor and am seeing houses around Austin, but if you know of a *secret place* that’s not listed or something, let me know! I’m looking for either: a larger house; a similar house but near a commercial space I can rent for the studio; or a property with an A unit/B unit situation where I would rent both units- preferably within like a ten minute drive of downtown in Travis Heights, Holly, or anywhere with nice trees. Any leads are appreciated! I’ve got until June 1 so it’s not *urgent* but I’d love to find the just-right combination of location/size/being a cool place to hang out.

Decided to test the studio’s new @eartrumpetlabs Louise mic and it sounds awesome. This is just that mic positioned like three feet away, into a UA 610. This song is going to be on the upcoming @ckierce album. It’s probably called “Light” but idk.
