What an incredible honor and blessing it is to be recognized by my church as a Culinary Trailblazer during Black History Month.
It was truly a surprise. I was in the church kitchen doing what I do every Sunday morning, preparing breakfast to serve God’s servants, when I heard my name mentioned on the live stream. I stood there humbled and overwhelmed with gratitude.
To be seen, appreciated, and honored for the very thing God has called me to do is something I do not take lightly. I am simply thankful for the gift, the opportunity to serve, and a church family that shows love so generously.

God blesses us to be a blessing to others, and on this day we felt that in every way.
