I like to think about how something familiar can still surprise you.
These pieces start with what already exists. Materials with their own history, reworked into garments that feel everyday but with more zah.
I like the idea that something as simple as a crewneck, or black pants can hold more than it’s expected to.
I love the past life of things. The wear, the texture, the quiet evidence that something has already been lived in.
I work with what’s been left behind, letting those details guide me. Each piece ends up carrying small decisions, small memories, that reveal themselves the more you sit with it.
This way of working comes directly from my studio practice. Thinking through material, space, and memory. The same language translates, just shifting scale and function. What might exist as a wall piece or part of an environment finds another life on the body, still holding that tension between refined and worn, shaped by the places I’ve spent time in and carried with me.
Clothing feels like a natural place for that. Something that moves with you.

I feel so incredibly honored every time Darius asks me to bring another one of his visions to life, this time is no exception. I remember the first time he asked me in 2022 when I was just a huge ball of nerves and anxiety. Even still, he kept encouraging me and giving me opportunities to have a voice in the process. We’ve been so incredibly lucky to get to meet and work with such amazing and caring individuals, and it’s thanks to their love and support that I can say with confidence that I truly feel at home in front of a camera.
