What i learnt is that sometimes the secret to solving our own problems is to help someone else's solve their problems.
Your breakthroughs might be connected to someone else's breakthroughs.
When Joseph was a teen God gave him a dream to lead a nation. It looked like the favor was on him. He was the favorite son of his dad out of the other brothers, he had a coat of many colors on him. But soon he was sold as a slave, had to work in a foreign country, got put into the prison for something he didn't do.
But Joseph didn't get bitter, instead, he helped one of his inmates to interpret his dream. This prisoner was then released and ended up serving the Pharaoh. It was him suggested to the Pharaoh he knew someone who could read dreams and Joseph was quickly brought to the palace.
The meeting took no longer than an hour or two, Joseph was promoted to the second-in-command in Egypt to save Egypt during a famine. God given his dream had come to pass.
His generosity despites his circumstances had led him to his promiseland.
But it surely wasn't what Joseph thought while he was a slave, or in the prison... all the while God was preparing him. God has bigger things in Joseph but he just didn't know it at that time.
Honestly, God's ways are not our ways. But all things will workout for our good.
Not only Joseph was in a position to help others with a prestigious title, his longing to seeing his family was also came true.
While Joseph was working on someone else's problems, God was working on his problems.
What you give, it's not gonna come back the same, the goodness, the empowerment, the favor, will keep on flowing as long as you're connected to Him and be thankful for what He has done in your life.
He has designed the world to run like this, to ensure it can be sustainable and won't collapse by the darkness. And this principle is sustainable. 2024, things are still running, because ppl came before us had given and served. They received and expierenced. :)
