Last week, @cj.bloomfield walked the world premiere of Mortal Kombat 2 in Sydney as Baraka wearing a custom @rileyandsons.atelier tuxedo.
We crafted him a brown peak lapel tuxedo, from our in-house Drago Super 130s wool collection.
With grosgrain lapels, formal gauntlet cuffs and matching jetted pockets. Paired with a black tuxedo shirt and silk bowtie, keeping it monochromatic.
However before we touched the cloth, we sat with the brief...
"How do we honour the man and the character?"
When it all came together, he felt humbled, grateful, and certain in what he was wearing.
That is what our Alignment Method produces. Not a suit for the occasion. A suit that could only ever belong to the man wearing it.
We start with the man, then let the garments reveal itself.

Working with @cj.bloomfield , playing Baraka in the new @mortalkombatmovie , we designed both outfits to have subtle nods to both who he is and his character.
