Today we say goodbye to Marc, who is moving on to pastures new.
Marc has been a valued member of Civic Trees for nearly 26 years! He began his journey with us in February 1999 as a Tree Planter and, through his passion, hard work and dedication, rose to the position of General Manager.
Over the years, Marc has contributed enormously to the growth and success of Civic Trees — not just through his leadership, but through the respect he earned from colleagues and clients. His knowledge, commitment, and calm approach have left a lasting mark on the company and all who’ve worked with him.
In true Marc fashion, he’s ensured a smooth transition by mentoring Rob over the past two years — passing on his insight, experience, and standards. We’re in safe hands, and Marc’s legacy will certainly live on.
We send him off with deep admiration for all he has achieved and sincere gratitude for his years of service, all done with a steady hand and good sense of humour!

As many of you know, today marks my last day at Civic Trees after 26 incredible years. It’s hard to put into words what this company has meant to me over the years.
Civic Trees has been more than just a workplace. I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some truly talented and dedicated people, and I’m deeply grateful for the experiences and memories we’ve shared.
I leave with a strong sense of pride in what we’ve achieved together.
