We want to thank everyone that came out this first week for the opening of City Workshop 3.0! It also happens to coincide with our 7th year in business. So many of who we lovingly call "West Orange OG's" (the location of CW 1.0 2015) came out as well as many of our new peeps that found us when we relocated to Maplewood back in 2019.
Thanks to all of the brands that continue to rock with us and we rep everyday! Thanks to our first team member Rob who held us down and set the tone for what a great team member is. And thanks to Robyn our current shop mgr who picked up the torch and continued blazing her own trail and setting the bar high. Thanks to all of our new team members who rep us well everyday, Martin, Pete, Matt, Alec, Kenny and our newest, Solomon and Ian! Thank you to all the folks that literally put our little shop on their travel itinerary when passing through NJ (that never gets old). City Workshop is proud to welcome Alden Shoes to our shop! The brand was founded by Charles H. Alden in Massachusetts in 1884 and they're still made there today. We're starting with the Original Work Boot (Indy Boot) that has a cult following made MORE famous by Harrison Ford specifically requesting them as his boot of choice in Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Roger and Josefina have been supporting us since the very beginning so it means a lot to be able to do this with them. Moments like this are what keep us going.
We’re proud to be building everything right here in New Jersey and this is a chance to bring it into a space where you can see it try it on and connect in person.
If you’re in the tri state area it would be great to meet you. We’ll be there the whole time.

Once washed unsanforized 13oz selvedge denim from Japan with BEAUTIFUL character and teal color. This is a unique, truly special fabric.
This loomstate denim — or "kibata" in Japanese) — has not gone through the sanforization process. The upshot? The fabric hasn't been pre-shrunk and the yarns have not been singed, preserving maximum character. However, the denim has been rinsed once to remove excess shrinkage.
