Shah served as a former Director of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office, where he helped transform the federal government’s clean energy investment strategy. He also co-founded SunEdison and Generate Capital, which largely invented low-cost, infrastructure-as-a-service financing.
Today, he co-hosts @energyempirepod and the “Open Circuit” podcast from @_latitudemedia . Shah earned a well-deserved spot on the 2024 #TIME100 list of the world’s most influential people as an energy entrepreneur, investor, and strategist.

This Earth Month, we're excited to announce @brooklynhistory has invited CCL Executive Director Ricky Bradley has been invited to participate in a discussion on confronting climate change. Alongside environmental writer and activist @billmckibbenvt and correspondent on @npr ’s Climate Desk, Rebecca Hersher, Ricky will offer his perspective on building political will for climate action across ideological divides. Typically, Montana residents have the perfect weather for building snowmen. However, lately, CCLers in Big Sky Country have noticed changes in winter temperatures impacting their snowy season.
Members of CCL's Bozeman chapter wanted to stage a “snowman protest," by building snowpeople to picket. But without enough snow to build traditional snowmen, they instead got creative, using cardboard and cotton balls to create homemade snow people. Their efforts earned them a segment on the local TV channels ABC/Fox and CBS local news.
"We had fun, thoughtful conversations, and incredible media presence," said chapter co-lead Kristin Walser (pictured, right). "I appreciated the enthusiasm and many props everyone brought!"
