Two teenage suspects, ages 15 and 17, have been arrested after police say they carried out a random shooting spree connected to at least 10 separate gunfire incidents across the Austin, Texas area on Saturday.
Authorities say four people were injured during the spree, which included shootings near two fire stations and multiple neighborhoods across South Austin. Police said the suspects used several stolen vehicles and may have used firearms stolen from stores.
SWAT teams, K9 units, and officers searched neighborhoods for hours before the suspects were taken into custody near Manor, Texas. A third possible suspect was also being investigated.

Heavy black smoke filled the sky over East Los Angeles as firefighters battled a commercial building fire near E Olympic Blvd Saturday morning. Crews worked aggressively to contain the flames after the fire reportedly started outdoors before spreading into the structure.
Additional firefighting units and police responded to assist as smoke could be seen from across the area. The cause of the fire and whether anyone was injured remain under investigation.

Residents in parts of Atlanta say around 50 empty Waymo vehicles have been repeatedly circling cul-de-sacs for hours in the early morning, leading to unusual traffic buildup, according to WSB-TV Atlanta.
Some residents claim they attempted to deter the vehicles with signage, but say it appeared to increase confusion and congestion, briefly clogging local streets.

Multiple fire crews and emergency responders rushed to a lumber mill in Searsmont, Maine, after a reported explosion involving a 30,000-gallon flammable tanker sparked a massive fire Thursday afternoon.
Officials say the incident has been classified as a mass casualty incident, meaning the number of potential patients may exceed local emergency response capacity. The Maine Fire Marshal’s Office has deployed investigators to assist at the scene.

Two people were arrested after Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies executed early-morning raids near 6th and Main Streets in Downtown LA on Thursday. Investigators say they seized between $5 million and $10 million worth of alleged counterfeit merchandise, including handbags, clothing, Hello Kitty toys, and other goods.
Authorities say the investigation remains ongoing and additional arrests or charges are possible. Anyone with information is urged to contact LASD Major Crimes Bureau investigators.
