Hey Boise! Join City of Good, @city_of_boise and community partners for the 4th Annual Boise Dandelion Festival on June 20th at Kristin Armstrong Municipal Park. This free, family-friendly event celebrates biodiversity and the creativity that makes Boise unique.
Enjoy dandelion-themed food and drinks, live music, and hands-on activities for kids. Learn about Boise’s pesticide reduction efforts while tasting locally brewed dandelion beverages from Woodland Empire Ale Craft, made with hand-picked park dandelions.

Britt Udesen and the team at City of Good have transformed a moment of need into a movement of support for the Boise community.
Since 2020, they’ve delivered over 115,000 fresh, restaurant-made meals and distributed thousands of pounds of local produce and essential goods to children, refugees, seniors, and families in need!

Day 3 of @idahogives and we are taking you behind the scenes of the incredible work on the ground at our partner pantries. These pantries show up day in and day out to support their communities with care, dignity, and consistency. The impact they make reaches far beyond food, helping create stability and connection for so many families. We are so grateful to play a part in the ways they show up for their families.
Happy Day 2 of @idahogives , we’re continuing our push to raise $160,000 to fully fund our Food Pantry Program. This ongoing work is only possible because of our circle of supporters: our volunteers and donors alike. To start off the week of @idahogives , we want to talk about the farmers we work with. Our farmers are the backbone of this program, and we are so grateful for the relationships we have built with them. Their knowledge, care, and commitment are what make this program possible, and we’re continually inspired by the work they do every single day.

Idaho Gives starts ONE WEEK from today! We have a big ask this year and a big week full of fun events! Whether it’s grabbing a coffee, joining us for a night of karaoke, enjoying a beer with friends, or donating directly, your support helps us work towards our $160,000 goal and continue to make sure this program thrives.

This evening full of fun, MCed by the one & only @rocci_johnson , will feature performances by 8 local nonprofit Executive Directors and over 25 tabling partners on site sharing information about how to support them during Idaho Gives!

Last Friday we brought our first delivery of 500 meals to the new @sanctuaryboise shelter home! With help from grant funding through the @city_of_boise , we were able to ensure that the shelter’s freezers were fully stocked upon opening their doors, and that every week moving forward we will be able to provide 100s of freshly prepared meals for their guests. We are so excited to see this space in our community serving our neighbors in a thoughtful way and honored to work in partnership with them 💛🩵💚
Thank you all for your support in 2025! With your help we were able to meet our $50,000 match donation goal. Each dollar helps us to continue building a sustainable food system and bring fresh, local food to all of our neighbors. We’re only one month in to 2026 and we already see the impact of your support in each meal delivered and every pantry stocked. We cannot wait to see what else we can accomplish together this year!

We are revamping our volunteer program for 2026 and inviting all new and returning volunteers to join us for one session on either January 29th or February 18th. It’s with heavy hearts we say goodbye to @rootszerowastemarket 💛 Roots has been with City of Good since the very beginning, providing us with beautiful meals for our neighbors. They have been a thoughtful, mission-aligned partner and an essential part of our programs. In addition to working with & supporting City of Good, Lea created something our community had never seen before by not only providing a zero waste market, but a community space for building connection around food.
