This post is completely unrelated to jewelry but I wanted to share a fun creative challenge I gave myself at the start of the new year. My goal is to have fun with gift wrapping using 100% recycled materials from online purchases and items gifted to me. I also allow myself to use anything that currently exists in my craft drawer. I saved almost all of the packaging from items I received in anticipation of my daughter. I’ve taken very little documentation of this process but to anyone who is interested in this challenge, I am here to say it is THRILLING! This is inspired by an uncle who has given the most beautifully wrapped gifts my entire life. Thanks for the inspo, Uncle Mark ❤️

A push gift for Agnes. Agnes wanted to story tell and wanted an organic element. I designed a wavy ring with 2 settings. Both of her children have April birthdays so we went with a blue diamond and an old European cut. This felt like a nice way to differentiate the two. To add a little more contrast we used two different settings. Agnes and Chris, congratulations on your growing family. Thank you for your trust 💎💎💍❤️

A custom resetting project for Elizabeth. Elizabeth was given her Mother’s heirloom engagement ring but wanted something more modern and wearable. We turned this into an art deco dream! The 14k gold shank makes a nice contrast with the platinum setting. The gorgeous stones are fully bezel set creating additional safety and beautiful architecture. Swipe for before and after!
