This is a demonstration of Gulfstream’s Emergency Decent Mode in a flight simulator. It is an automatic safety feature in the later models. It arms when we’re above FL400. It activates if cabin pressure is lost at altitude. Boom, we fall asleep, system gets us back to a breathable altitude, we wake up, and hopefully get the plane on the ground.
